Social Security MD faces spiritual fight

Wednesday, July 25, 2018
The standoff between the managing director of the Social Security and Housing Finance Corporation (SSHFC), Muhammed Manjang and some staff of the corporation has entered a new phase. In a latest twist of events, spiritual fight using ‘jujus’ is being used against the embattled managing director of the corporation.
Sources who spoke to our reporter on condition of anonymity on Monday, said an unidentified staff at the second floor of the SSHFC building threw a red ‘juju’ at the MD Manjang, whose office is on the first floor.
“Unfortunately, the ‘juju’ did not hit MD Manjang and eventually left on the floor. However, the staff who did the act is unknown as I’m speaking to you.”
Our sources further added unknown person also took a left footer shoe belonging to MD Manjang away, as he joined a congregational Zuhr prayer at the mosque.
“It is not clear at the moment as to who is behind this ungodly acts and what is the motive behind all these moves against MD Manjang,” our source said
It could be recalled that some staff of the corporation have accused their boss of corruption, abuse of office, and nepotism. This followed a petition they filed to the PAC and PEC committees of the National Assembly among other relevant stakeholders. However, MD Muhammed Manjang has since denied any wrongdoing.
