Fatal accident involving The Gambia Transport Service Company’s (GTSC) bus is reported to have killed three people at Sare Talata village in the Jimara District, Upper River Region, The Point has been informed.
The accident that occurred around 2 p.m. was said to have killed a man and his wife and their two months old baby. They were riding on a motorbike, our source revealed.
The bus was believed to be coming from Basse heading to Kombo, while the motorbike was heading towards Basse.
The victims, our source said, are all from Tokundo village in the southern Casamance region of Senegal. They were taken to Basse Major Hospital but later referred to Bansang Hospital in the Central River Region.
